DeeDee is Dolly’s daughter. We don’t know if DeeDee has any siblings, but as of now, she doesn’t. DeeDee is another case of a baby monkey picking up on their mother’s habits. Since female infants inherit their mother’s rank, DeeDee is a high-ranking baby. She has been exhibiting dominant behavior toward her peers.

In particular, she has been disciplining and attacking Sweet Pea. DeeDee will attack him when other monkeys are not around to witness it, or she will bite him until he cries, and when he does, she runs away. In a recent video, it showed DeeDee going after Popeye. DeeDee will try to remove Popeye’s nipple from Sweet Pea’s mouth. When Sweet Pea is having a fit, she is more likely to attack him than when he isn’t. Dolly is still nursing DeeDee, but only a few times a day and the duration of each nursing session is reducing. Most of the time DeeDee is running around and roughhousing with the other young monkeys.
