Rain

Rain’s little family is comprised of his mom, April, his grandmother, Daisy and his aunt, May. He was born into a tight little family. From an early age, Rain has always loved food. Unlike some of the other babies, Rain wanted to get into April’s food more than he wanted milk at times – especially if it was a mango! It looks like Rain went through a huge growth spurt in the past few weeks, which made him hard to recognize. Now that he’s bigger he’s able to participate in the rough housing with April and May. There were a few videos posted in the past week showing Rain engaging in some odd behaviors. In the videos he is seen self-stimulating and no one is sure what the cause is. People believe that it’s a result ofย Rain being weaned and not having April around, because she has been mating. Overall, Rain seems like a happy little monkey playing with his friends and little family. He likes to spend time with Piper who is near his age and they are seen playing together often.

  1. Quimmbly- When you know them…can you include the babies birthdate with their photos? I am so glad I found your website in the comments under Sochhuns video from Sept. The first thing out of my mouth when I saw it was “This is wonderful” Its been difficult trying to learn all the monkeys, troops and personalities by myself. Thank you for the hard work. Regards, Sokaikat

    • Sokaikat, I actually do have their birthdays! Splashypuddle provided me with a list of birthdays for each of the current babies. ๐Ÿ™‚ Splashy also collected all the dates that the babies passed away. That information will be added to each of the pages. I’ve been busy lately and haven’t had a whole lot of time to work on the website. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Aww, thank you! I’m glad you like the website. ๐Ÿ™‚ I had a lot of personal notes on these monkeys, and when I saw people asking for more information, I figured I’d publish it. I hope to see you on the website and in the chat! Please feel free to join if you’d like. ๐Ÿ™‚ You don’t have to go through any sign up. There is additional information in the “Chat Tutorial” section.

If you’d like to have your name displayed when you comment, there is a section that you can type in “Sokaikat.”โ€‹
