This website wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for all the videographers who take time out of their day to record the actions of the monkeys in their area. In the beginning, there was only SP BBlover (Sochhun) recording the monkeys. Overtime, more individuals were inspired to follow the lives of these monkeys. Thanks to them, we are able to watch and enjoy these monkeys thousands of miles away.

When there are multiple movies made of the same baby on the same day, is there a way to know the time that each movie was shot? In order to view them in chronological order?

There are 3 times as many listed. New ones pop up all the time. I think it’s pretty awful, despite the fact i know it’s how they earn or supplement their living. Nnot only have the tourists corrupted the animals by feeding and touching them, the VOs seem to manipulate the lives of the monkeys. The more drama they artificially create, the more views. The only relatively unspoiled and objective filming of monkey troops happens in Japan outside of Hong Kong. What is seen at Angkor Wat isn’t natural.

I have e seen how some of the videos operators cause stress with mommies or I have seen new moms drop newborns out of trees trying to get away from them being so close filming. When they are a new mom or any monkey trying to walk Away. They need to leave them alone and not follow them in order to vet a 10min video. When a mom is walking away with a brand new bloody baby after just giving birth they need to take a quick shot then back the hell up…to many deaths for a video story and views…

You are 100% correct. It is even worse than you think. Some vo”s including Sochunn. They’ve poisoned new mothers with umbilical cords still attached to babies and say they’ve passed due to “retained placenta”just to have newborns to “rescue”. (=abuse)
Arroz Marisco has a legit channel. He has done in depth exposé videos on ALL of it. He’s in China but he has been to the Angkor Wat temple & he investigates & reports when we bug him into it. What a thing that was! Suddenly all those monkey channels started to lie about him, like catty old biddies!

I regularly watch a You Tube channel called American Monkey. I have never seen any abuse or interference from Mr. Tara. I really believe this man has only the best for the troops he follows. Mr. Tara not only video records these monkey troops, he also narrates ever video. So not only do you watch great videos but he knows ever monkey by name. He is really one of the good ones. I really hope his channel will continue to add subscribers. He has been following these troops for 5 yrs now.
