Jack is the son of Amari – the alpha female of her troop. He has one sibling, a juvenile female, Jill. He is one of the older babies and has grown quite a bit in the last few months. Even though he is the son of the alpha he still gets picked on by the older boys in the troop. Amari has done a good job of raising Jack. He tends to look after the other babies in the troop, especially when they are upset. He will run to the aid of younger monkeys that are in distress and attempt to comfort them. He spends most of his time playing with his peers and returns back to Amari when he’s ready for a nap and wants to nurse. His opportunities to nurse have dwindled down to a few times a day.

• His ears look a little too big for his head.
• He just went through a huge growth.
• He now has very long limbs, because of his growth spurt.
• He has a dark patch of fur on the top of his head.
